Teaching is the most rewarding career and brings with it responsibility and the privilege of positively influencing young people’s lives. It takes a special person to understand learning through the eyes of the child. We want to work with people who are prepared to rise to the challenge as they embark on their new career.
The strength of the SCITT programme is that it allows you to learn the craft of teaching in a school with children and experienced teachers and work as part of a team. All of the schools in our partnership focus on high standard and positive outcomes for children and young people.
The programme offers its trainees a wide range of school experience across Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton and Winchester. Each trainee’s learning is supported by a class mentor and subject lead mentor along with access to our dedicated teachers. Our bespoke teacher training programme will be tailored to your individual needs.
